If you now bring some components into modules, to rename a link item it seems to me that I have to rename the module's folder; but with that comes, that I have to search and replace all paths within that module. Am I right or did I miss something?

I completely forgot about this, and I will start adding a variable into the modules. My mistake. I only speak and read English, and not so good at that sometimes. So the language details are sometimes forgotten by me. I remember reading about this on PHP-Nuke, but didn't file it in my long term memory.
Please, if you notice something like this in Post-Nuke, just bring it up. The letter's author also brought up a couple of missed translations in the Post-Nuke theme as well, which will be fixed. See, it's this kind of detail work that will build us all a better website.
