SportPicksAuthority.com Needs Beta Testers!

I havent done much as producing the front page or faqs or anything like that yet but the core program is 95% finished.

What I need is people to register and post picks on the site so I can monitor the loads and scripts to make sure everything is running correctly. You have to register because that is how the module keeps track of the picks(sorry).

To give you a brief overview of the site, a person will register and post picks daily, weekly, or whenever. When a better comes to the site and sees someone is hot they will be able to purchase there picks. The picker will be able to set any price they would like for there picks to be sold at. The picker will always be able to keep there picks from being sold if they choose.

I am adding various routines to the site to filter top pickers of the week and so forth.

Any questions, comments, or suggestions can be sent to gslaven@gacybertech.com .

Oh yeah the site is at http://www.sportpicksauthority.com .

Thanks,
Geoff Slaven

Bahraini.TV has new clothes!

I have added JavaScript drop-down menus, thus freeing the site from just about all the "usual" menus - this of course allows me to put more junk in if I want to!!

So now I have all my menus categorized in what I think is optimal grouping for my visitorss.

This was due to some complaints I've had from my visitors tha t the site is "too busy" with "too many menu boxes" etc etc,..

Come have a look at Bahraini.TV's new set of clothes. I would appreciate your comments and of course a heads up if (make that when!) you find errors or kinks.

How do I syndicate to my Main Page?

I've seen quite a few PostNuke focused sites that have news from PostNuke listed as articles on their main page, just as if someone had posted them there too. I want articles from PostNuke to show up on my site too. How do I do this? I assume it has to do with backend.php, and I've done an RSS feed at my site, but the only options for the RSS feed blocks are for the left & right side.

I searched all over PostNuke, the forums, Documentation Central, and a lot of PostNuke related sites for how to do this but can't find any references.

Can someone point me in the right direction?

Mulilingual Random Quotes

I think this isn't so hard to do with current random quotes .. What it must be done for this is only to add in db table for quotes one field "alanguage" and in admin part and in block "where is alanguage=$userlang" or something like this ...

I posted here this idea because I don't know how to do this in code, so I woul'd appreciate if someone can help me with this .. I find this modification very usable for other Post Nukers, and maybe this coul'd be added in PN Core ..

We are here started to develop real multilingual CVS so it should be multilingual in all parts .. including quotes ..

PHPnuke site switch back to a old news site

Hello Nukers!

I'm pleased to announce that PHP-Nuke web site will switch back to the abitual look with all the old news back online again.

The change is thanks to an advertising company that accepted to work with us and to support this project. The company's name will be revealed after the switch completition.

This also will make possible to continue a high development base on PHP-Nuke and the start of new GPL projects as well, because I can dedicate again the 100% of my time to develop stuff.

I'm working hard to have the site switched back as soon as possible.

Best Regards!
and thanks to all the people asking for this.
