PostNuke

The language tool supplied with Rogue really almost killed me...

The problem with the supplied langauge tool is that
it first creates a wrong Missing.php (with single quote around the '_defines'.
The second problem is that the data is put in the wrong files in the temp_lang direcotorie...
A lot of things that should be in the cental global.php are put in the modules files.

Why is there no fix for that? Am I the only one having this problem? Even on the various support forums there's nothing about this...

Or is it a good practice in general? I understand there may be some kinda of delay in term of content propagation from master to slave, but this is a minor trade off, beside MySQL handle the synchronization automatically.... via proper configuration that is....

All (activated) modules can e listed, and near to the modules name there could be e.g. some chekboxes who can access thismodule...

Does anyone have any idea whether these are real issues that can be fixed and whether there is any estimate on when these "problems" will be resolved? Obviously bugs will take care of themselves as development surges forward (PN is still technically beta software) but as far as resource hogging is concerned, is that a problem native to nuke sites and CMSs in general or is it something that relates to the code specific to PN and PHPN that can be cleaned up and streamlined to specifically address the resource issue such that Site5 and others will change their minds?

Has anyone else had experiences similar to benews.com? I very curious to know how those of you using PN on shared servers are faring.
