News
I mean, customizing the text that is sent in emails (recommend us, user reg., etc.).
I would like to see that there are completly seperate text files for these emails, for example. I believe that active user communication (e.g. with a newsletter) is crucial for a community system to work! Therefore it would be nice, if a little more effort could be put on these communicative issues - especially so that the drafts can be saved easily when doing an upgrade to the next PN version).
The newsletter modules around are already pretty neat. I would like to see something like this incorporated into all the emails that can be sent to a user by PN.
Additionally, what does the community think of a "switch" to disable or enable things like:

I personally run a few news sites which don't need this information. Perhaps this would be cool:

As of Mutant 0.64, I have been hacking this manually into the index.php. I am getting a bit tired of this though which is why I am asking for a switch solution.
As I think that these thoughts might be of interest to the community, I did not (only) post them as a feature request on SF (although I did, seperately).
I just want to know what you guys think!
Thanks for your comments,
Titus.

I require an individual experienced in creating CMS themes to reproduce and EXACT copy of my new design (not public yet) into a PostNuke .(71) theme. It is crucial the new design retains it look and feel as a theme, this will ultimately determine which CMS we choose to use on linuxlookup.com
If you have some spare time on your hands and believe you may be of assistance, please contact me ty @ linuxlookup.com to make arrangements.
I added the module to my MainMenu (Wiki Docs, [Wiki], Wiki Docs). When I click on the link, I get the following error:
Warning: Failed opening 'modules/Wiki/index.php' for inclusion (include_path='.:/usr/lib/php') in /web/modules.php on line 13
Also, I've noticed in the modules admin there is a check box for 'Activate wiki for this module'... What does this do?
Additionally, I've noticed the Wiki block, however, when I add it I get an empty block.
TIA, Also let me know if this is not the correct place to post this question.

With the reopening, a completely new and improved Danish language pack has just entered our download section. Feel free to grab it directly here: http://postnuke.dk/modules.php?op=modload&name=Downloads&file=index&req=getit&lid=3
In the near future, we will update the site with content from the old version so stay tuned.
At the same time, we have opened up our international portal, memorandum.dk, on how to build portals for intranets or internet. Our focus is on sharing of knowledge on how to implement PostNuke in corporate environments. The roadmap for the site is not in its final place and the site still runs on PostNuke 0.703.
The Danish PostNuke.dk focuses on the Scandinavian support and memorandum.dk focuses on international corporate discussions.
That is all folks. Have fun
Rewriting the theme system will affect almost every aspect on PostNuke, so we want to make sure we get it right, and end up with the solution our users want and need.
The PostNuke team is looking at replacing the current theme system. Some features we've thought of include:
- Template Engine. Converting PostNuke to use templates throughout the site will make themes much more flexible and powerful.
- XML based template syntax. Using an XML-like syntax for data placeholders in templates.
- Theme API. This would make the template engine the i/o layer of Postnuke, requesting data from the core (based on template contents), and sending it to the user.
- Standardized data structures. We are trying to identify the different types of data PostNuke uses (block, story, etc).
This is not the place to evangelize about your favorite template system. We are simply looking for features so that we can identify a solution. This is your chance to tell us what you want to do with themes in PostNuke!
I really want to use PostNuke, and the upgrade proccess goes well, however my forums are what my site thrives on. How can I get my forums data from PHP-Nuke 5, and move on to using better software such as PostNuke.
First off, whenever I'm in the admin control panel and I change an option I get a "Page Cannot be Displayed" error even though the setting I changed is saved. Each time that happens I have to back up and refresh the page to double check. I also had this problem in .703..
When I first went into my control panel after installing I noticed that the Blocks and Modules links had no html link to them. I'm not able to shut off or delete any modules from the admin section?
How confusing  Can anyone enlighten me here? My current setup is a Windows machine with WindowsXP and Omnihttpd running as my test web server (had no problems testing .603 on it).
Thanks :)
Colin
